Fire Fighting Equipment in Surat

The hardware that makes a hydrant system usable. We supply RRL and canvas hoses, hose reel drums, branch pipes and nozzles, instantaneous couplings, hose cabinets and the fire buckets and stands still required at many industrial premises.

The equipment that turns a hydrant point into usable protection

A hydrant riser on its own does nothing. What makes it work on the day of a fire is the hose that reaches the seat of it, the coupling that does not leak, the nozzle that shapes the stream, and the cabinet that keeps all of it together and findable. Those items are what this range covers.

Hoses and hose reels

Delivery hose comes in two common forms. RRL hose (rubber-reinforced lined) is tough, resists abrasion and is the usual choice at industrial hydrant points. Canvas hose with a woven jacket is lighter to handle. Both are supplied with coupled ends in standard lengths.

Hose reel drums serve a different purpose. Instead of a flaked-out hose that has to be run, a reel holds a continuous small-bore hose that one person can pull out and use immediately. That makes reels the practical first-aid option at floor landings, corridors and parking levels. We supply fixed, swinging-arm and wall-mounted types.

Nozzles, branch pipes and couplings

A branch pipe connects to the hose and carries the nozzle, usually with a control valve so the stream can be shut off at the point of use. Nozzles are available in gunmetal and stainless, and the choice between a jet and a spray pattern depends on what you are fighting and how close you can safely get.

Instantaneous couplings are what let hose lengths join quickly under pressure. We supply male and female couplings, adaptors and blank caps in the sizes that pair with standard hose and valve connections — worth keeping spares of, because a damaged coupling puts a whole hose length out of service.

Cabinets, boxes, buckets and stands

Hose cabinets keep hose, branch and couplings dry, together and at the hydrant point rather than scattered across a building. We supply single and double-door glass-fronted cabinets for internal use and steel hose boxes for outdoor and yard points. Conical fire buckets and four-bucket stands remain in use at many industrial premises for electrical rooms, DG areas and fuel storage points.

Most of this equipment is specified alongside a fire hydrant system, and sits behind the portable extinguishers that handle a fire in its first moments.

Questions

Fire Fighting Equipment — Common Questions

What is the difference between RRL hose and canvas hose?

RRL hose has a rubber-reinforced lining that resists abrasion and handles rough industrial use well. Canvas hose has a woven jacket and is lighter to handle. Both are supplied coupled, and the right one depends on where it will be stored and how it will be used.

Should I install a hose reel or a hose box?

A hose reel holds a continuous small-bore hose that one person can pull out and use straight away, which suits floor landings and corridors. A hose box stores flaked delivery hose for higher-volume use at hydrant points. Many buildings have both.

Do you supply couplings that fit our existing hydrant valves?

Instantaneous couplings come in standard sizes. Tell us the size of your existing valves and hose, or send a photograph on WhatsApp, and we will supply couplings and adaptors that match.

Are fire buckets still required?

Fire buckets and stands remain in use at many industrial premises, particularly at electrical rooms, DG sets and fuel storage points. Whether they are required at your site depends on the applicable requirements for your premises.

Can you replace damaged equipment on an existing system?

Yes. We can replace hoses, couplings, nozzles, reels and cabinets on an existing installation, whoever originally supplied it.

Need a quotation for fire fighting equipment?

Tell us the type of premises and the quantity you need. We will confirm what is appropriate and send you a price.
